Paid Search Strategist
in San Jose, Costa Rica.
As Paid Search Strategist, you will work with your team in creation, execution, and optimization of paid search campaigns, acting as the strategic SEM support for a major international brand. You’ll provide expertise in account structure and setup, ongoing budget and bid management, and continuous performance optimization. You’ll collaborate across multiple teams and disciplines, present data-driven insights, and deliver actionable performance reporting to clients. You’ll be responsible for defining and communicating SEM goals, maintaining client satisfaction, and educating both internal and external teams on the evolving SEM landscape and its opportunities.

You Will:
- Adding a Paid Search perspective to the strategic and tactical direction for assigned clients.
- Develops and delivers organic growth within accounts.
- Delivers reporting and analysis for assigned clients and campaigns.
- Creates bid strategy and budgeting rules of engagement for Paid Search.
- Implements optimizations to make sure client goals are met.
- Creates new campaigns, ad groups, ads to help improve Paid Search performance.
- Fosters relationships with the Search and Media experts across the company.
- Primary contact for Paid Search technology questions and metrics for assigned clients.
- Defines and implements best practices for Paid Search.
- Works with the broader team of media experts and Directors to holistically plan SEM
- Financial management of search engine relationships.
You Have:
- Have 2+ years in the Search Marketing space.
- Demonstrate a sound understating of Paid Search.
- Have familiarity with the wider Google ads platform – Google Display network, Performance Max, Demand Gen
- Familiarity with third party Search bidding technology – Adobe, Marin, Search Ads 360 is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a constantly evolving industry.
- Capability to recommend new strategies, tactics, and track trends in Search and apply them to assigned clients or vertical.
- Strong presentation development and delivery skills are a plus.
