Learning and Development Coordinator

The role of the Learning and Development Coordinator is to support the Learning and Development team with the coordination and administration of global learning programs created to enhance employee skills and foster professional growth – all in support and alignment with CM’s organizational goals. The nature of this role is to learn, support and contribute. This employee-facing role is part of an innovative and collaborative team within a fast paced, creative environment.
This role will be a part of our Trailhead program, which is Critical Mass’ investment and dedication to supporting emerging talent. You Will:
- Learn how to plan and coordinate training events, manage program resources while balancing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Develop skills in organizing and maintaining all forms of learning materials, ensuring easy access and relevance.
- Gain hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other e-learning tools.
- Enhance verbal and written communication skills by interacting with employees, sharing training announcements, and providing learning resources.
- Learn how to track, record, and report on training progress and employee development metrics, gaining proficiency with spreadsheets and reporting tools.
- Develop proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Keynote, Excel, Smartsheet and various AI apps and content creation tools.
- Develop exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills for managing training schedules, materials, and administrative tasks.
- Learn and experience the importance of relationship building, positive people skills, diplomacy, a collaborative attitude and positive mindset.
You Have:
- Knowledge of various training delivery methods, such as e-learning, in-person workshops, webinars, or blended learning formats.
- Experience coordinating training events, workshops, or learning programs and the ability to deliver training sessions or assist with delivery, either in person or virtually.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects or events simultaneously.
- Clear written and verbal communication, both for creating training materials and interacting with employees or external vendors. Ability to translate training materials between English and Spanish.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint), and possibly other digital tools like video conferencing platforms, or e-learning software.
- Efficient in managing schedules, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to adjust to evolving learning needs or new technologies.
- A helpful attitude toward supporting employees and providing resources that contribute to their development.
- Experience working with remote teams.
- Desire to grow a career in workplace learning and development.
